Student Qualifications

You must meet ALL of these qualifications to qualify for the Bread for Life program: be currently unemployed, be 18 years of age or older, and be a Clarke County resident.


Additional Qualifications

You must meet ONE of the following additional barriers to qualify for the Bread for Life program: have a background record-probation-parole, recovering from an addiction-must be in a recovery program for one year or longer, be pregnant or a single parent, be a victim of domestic violence, or receive SNAP benefits.

We want to help you get back to work! Through our hands-on training, instruction by industry professionals, and community support, we want to help improve your life and help you begin a successful career in the hospitality industry.

Our Program Includes:

Servsafe Certification, Certificate of Completion, 12 Months of Mentoring, Help with Transportation, Coursework in Industrial Food Service, Kitchen Prep, Banquet Services, Event Set-Up and Housekeeping
